Rare and very interesting vintage Pirate Sword Prop from Disney Studios. Measures Approx 28 1/2 long. Sword is well made, studio aged and distressed. Blade is made of metal, possibly steel, and the grip is made of brass. This is a very well made prop sword.

This style of sword is one of the best made swords I have seen from the Pirates of the Caribbean attractions. This sword comes directly from Walt Disney Studios. Sword still has Walt Disney Studios Props Department barcode on the back of the grip. Very good production used condition. There is some rust on the blade and signs of oxidization from use in production.

Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. This vintage pirate sword was likely used in Disney theme park attractions including Pirate of the Caribbean and Skull Rock Cove. This style of sword was used for many years in the Pirates of the Caribbean attractions.

The wardrobes and props on the animatronic figures on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride are changed out frequently and most recently the parks underwent some large scale changes and modifications to the Pirates attractions.
