Disney VIP Movie Premiere Gift Bugs Life 1998 Olszewski Trinket Box LE 29/50 COA

  

At the Hollywood Premiere on November 14, 1998 at the El Capitan Theatre, A Bug's Life premiered, and at the afterparty, 50 key VIPs were given these numbered trinket boxes as a thank you and memento of the achievement and occasion. On the protective outer box, and on the underside of the trinket box, it is hand-numbered as #29 of 50 pieces. This is an extremely small edition and rare Olszewski piece. Famed miniature sculptor and designer Robert Olszewski was commissioned to create these unique gifts. His delicate trinket box features miniature figurines of Princess Atta, Flik, and Dot.

Dot holds a telescope embedded with a real opal. The inside of the trinket box is lined with a satin-like fabric. The Certificate of Authenticity says.

This collectible box is one of 50 pieces that was developed through the collaborative efforts of the artists of Disney, Pixar, and Olszewski Studios. It was inspired from Disney/Pixar's new film A Bug's Life. This is a unique and scarce collectible, but it has a couple of flaws, please read condition details below.

It is priced according to its condition. Condition: Flik and Dot are each missing one of their antennae.
