Disney's Around The World In 80 Days Jackie Chan Prop Knife

  
Here is a genuine prop from Disney's Around the World in 80 Days. Was used on the character Passeportout played by Jackie Chan during a fight scene that took place on the not yet erected, still in storage Statue of Liberty. It was attached to the butt of Mr. Chan's pants to make it look as though he had been stabbed in the rear. One of their more high profile events was the Spider-Man 2 auctions. Unfortunately, I don't think they've active for maybe more than 10 years now. This knife prop measures approximately 8in. High and the mess base is approx. The mess is metal and has electrical tape around the edges that I can only imagine was applied to sharp or pointed bits that might cut the actor Mr. The bladed is attached by a screw to a bracket that was welded to the top of the mesh plate. The blade is metal with a dulled edge and has a resin or maybe plastic handle style to look like a scorpion's tail. The knife does have some damage. The handle tip, the scorpions stinger looks like it was broken off and then reattached with glue. The knife blade is also a bit loose/wobbly in the bracket. I did try to tighten the screw but was not successful. This prop will come with a C. Contact me if you have questions.
