RKO Radio Pictures original Yearbook 1941-1942 Disney poster Fantasia

  
It is a spiral bound hardcover book that promotes productions that were either under development, in production or currently available for distributors and theater owners including pages promoting newly discovered talent and the actors and directors under contract at that time. There are approximately 28 double-sided pages (56 pages if they were numbered) and the padded book covers measure 14 1/4" x 11 1/2". The highlights would have to be a double-sided page promoting Citizen Kane, full-color advertisements for several Disney films such as Fantasia, Bambi, Dumbo and a black and white one for Disney shorts which shows many of the classic characters of the era. The three color Disney pieces are really miniature versions of the theatrical poster artwork. It is a treasure trove of period film advertising.

One might consider removing and framing a few pages such as the four (three in full-color) Disney posters or the Citizen Kane page. Those pages alone are worth the asking price for this publication.
